Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (3 East)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for individuals meeting Medicine or Med/Tele admission criteria on a 3 East Med/Surg/Telemetry unit
• Apply a higher level of clinical proficiency to manage the complexity of patient needs within a Med/Surg/Tele environment
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Demonstrated higher level of clinical proficiency due to the complexity of the Med/Surg unit
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing or another professional certification recognized by the Magnet Association
• 1–2 years of Med/Surg or Telemetry experience
