Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Evening Shift | 5×8 Hours | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday–Friday | One on-call shift every 3rd or 4th weekend (8 hours) | Holiday coverage as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a large OR environment with 28 suites
• Must be able to both circulate and scrub — this is a firm requirement
• Scrub for specialized surgical cases including neuro, ophthalmology, and trauma procedures
• Support robotic-assisted surgical cases utilizing da Vinci technology
• Participate in on-call coverage approximately every 3rd or 4th weekend for an 8-hour shift
• Document and chart accurately using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (any active state license or compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required
• Some Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience required
• Must be able to scrub — candidates who cannot scrub will not be considered
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local travelers are not accepted
• No history of license disciplinary action

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience scrubbing for neuro, ophthalmology, or trauma cases
• Familiarity with da Vinci robotic surgical systems
• Comfort with floating to other units or nearby facilities based on census and skill set
