Contract | Full-Time | Day Shift | On-Site | Weekend rotation with call coverage required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced echocardiography studies including complete and limited scans, 2D measurements, strain imaging, TEE, and stress echo on both adult and pediatric patient populations
• Manage an expected patient volume of approximately 8 outpatient and 6–8 inpatient cases per day across clinic and hospital settings
• Float between clinic and hospital settings as needed to support departmental coverage
• Participate in call coverage in the hospital setting, with an expected schedule of approximately 6 call nights per month; weekend call occurs on a rotating basis approximately every 6–7 weeks
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, cardiologists, and a clinical informaticist to support patient care
• Document and manage patient imaging using EPIC EMR and operate Philips CV-x and 7C ultrasound equipment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience required
• Pediatric echocardiography experience is required
• Active BLS certification required
• ARDMS or CCI-RCS certification required
• Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree or equivalent required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience performing TEE and stress echo procedures
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR in a clinical imaging environment
• Experience working in both outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings
• Comfort with call and weekend rotation schedules
