Job Title

Travel MRI Technologist

Location

Richmond, VA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Friday – Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans including brain, spine, orthopedic, body, abdominal, and cardiac studies
• Operate GE 450W 1.5T MRI equipment in a fast-paced radiology department
• Document and manage imaging using Meditech and Centricity PACS systems
• Participate in weekend call rotation (typically one weekend per month) and two weeknight call shifts per week (typically 11:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
• Collaborate with a team of day and evening shift technologists to ensure quality patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia MRI Technologist License
• MR Registry (ARRT or equivalent)
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with GE MRI equipment (required; candidates without this experience will not be considered)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience performing cardiac MRI scans
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR and Centricity PACS
• Comfort with on-call responsibilities and rotating weekend schedules
