Contract | Rotating Days and Nights | 12-hour shifts (07:00–19:30 or 19:00–07:30) | Every other weekend required | Some holidays required | No call | 4×12 scheduling may be considered upon request | Blocked weekend scheduling may be considered upon request

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Operate and monitor the NextStage CVVH machine as part of patient care protocols
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias and heart blocks
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver care to complex cardiovascular and post-surgical patients

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the CVICU specialty
• Demonstrated CVICU experience required
• Experience and working knowledge of the NextStage CVVH machine required
• Must pass a telemetry examination prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; 100% identification of lethal rhythms required on adult exam; maximum of three attempts allowed)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — locals not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Cardiothoracic Surgery setting
• Experience in an Acuity Adaptable care area
