Travel RN – Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Rotating Weekends | Projected Start: November 9, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Department with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with procedures including intubation and central line placement
• Operate and monitor equipment including ventilators and Baxter IV pumps
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR
• Respond to emergency situations and deliver timely, high-quality emergency care
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, medics, triage RNs, and unit secretaries

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for the state of Texas
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications required
• Demonstrated patient care experience in an emergency setting
• Proficiency with emergency response protocols and procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
• Experience with Meditech Expanse or similar EMR platforms
• Flexible, team-oriented approach to fast-paced emergency environments
