Job Title

Registered Nurse – Oncology

Contract | Days, 5×8 Hours (8:00–17:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients across all cancer diagnoses, including hematology malignant and non-malignant conditions in an outpatient oncology setting
• Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments in accordance with established protocols and safety standards
• Monitor and assess patient responses to treatment, documenting findings and escalating concerns appropriately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate individualized patient care plans
• Complete required onboarding modules onsite during orientation

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal; license hits not accepted
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required – Fundamentals certificate not accepted
• Must not reside in the following counties at time of submittal: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
• All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submittal
• Previous staff must wait one year before returning in a travel capacity

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an outpatient oncology or infusion center setting
• Familiarity with hematology patient populations, both malignant and non-malignant
• Strong patient education and communication skills in a high-volume outpatient environment
