Job Title

Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) / Clinical Lab Scientist

Great Bend, KS | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-hour evening shifts | Thursday–Saturday and Saturday–Wednesday (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM / 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM) | 7 nights on, 7 nights off | Weekend rotation required | Holidays required based on unit needs | No on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory testing in a hospital-based lab setting
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment in accordance with established protocols
• Accurately document and report test results in a timely manner
• Adhere to quality control and compliance standards within the clinical laboratory
• Participate in required holiday coverage based on unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MLT experience in a hospital setting
• Active ASCP, NCA, or AMT certification required
• Associate degree or appropriate Military Training eligible for ASCP or NCA certification
• Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) training from an accredited NAACLS program
• New graduates will not be considered
• Must be able to comply with a nicotine-free facility policy
