Travel RN – Emergency Room

Location

Riverside, CA | Acute Care – Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, 67-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Adapt to ever-changing acuity and census levels in a fast-paced emergency care environment
• Perform and support typical emergency department procedures in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team including supervisors, charge nurses, CNAs, and multi-techs
• Maintain compliance with unit dress code: navy scrubs required, no visible tattoos, hair longer than shoulder length must be pulled back, no gel or acrylic nails
• Work weekends and on-call shifts as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in California
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required — candidates without this will not be considered
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, CPI
• Flexibility to adapt to fluctuating acuity and census demands

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with MEDITECH EMR system
• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting
