Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday–Sunday availability required; shifts may vary between 8, 9, 10, or 12 hours as needed | No call required; Saturday availability expected

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to chronic renal (ESRD) patients in an outpatient dialysis setting
• Adapt to variable shift lengths (8, 9, 10, or 12 hours) based on unit needs
• Float to additional outpatient dialysis locations in the surrounding area as needed
• Accurately document patient care using the EPIC EMR system
• Participate in bi-weekly Monday orientations as scheduled
• Ensure reliable personal transportation is available, as public transportation is not accessible in this area; vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April

Required Qualifications

• Active Vermont (VT) RN license required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient nursing experience required
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years is required and non-negotiable
• Candidates living 50 miles or fewer from the facility are considered local; rates are tiered based on distance from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience working with ESRD and chronic renal patient populations
