Registered Nurse – Wound Care (LTC/SNF)

Location

Rio Rancho, NM | Skilled Nursing Facility

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | Monday – Friday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled wound care nursing services to residents in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility setting
• Assess, treat, and document wound care needs for assigned patients
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized wound care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Mexico
• Hands-on wound care experience required
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation
• Must present a valid state or federal issued photo ID and wear a photo badge at all times while on assignment
• Must have completed the original or updated COVID-19 vaccine series, or present a documented religious and/or medical exemption from employer; additional doses required where mandated by law

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
• Wound care certification (e.g., WCC, CWCN, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards in LTC/SNF settings
