Job Title

Medical Technologist – Medical Lab Technician (MLT) / Medical Technologist (MT)

Rhinelander, WI

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Rotating Shifts (8, 10, and 12-hour days, evenings, and nights) | Onsite | Expected 80 hours biweekly; overtime may be available after 80 hours worked in the second week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy as a primary function, with additional responsibilities including urinalysis processing, chemistry, and kit test processing
• Toggle between lab assistant and MLT responsibilities as needed based on department needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic
• Participate in every other weekend and holiday rotation
• Be available for on-call assignments; call-back minimum is 2 hours
• Float to additional facility locations as prescheduled and required

Required Qualifications

• Active MLT, MT, or CLS certification required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field required
• Minimum 3 years of core lab experience; at least 1 travel assignment required
• Epic proficiency required
• Flexible scheduling availability across days, evenings, and nights required
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ASCP certification preferred but not required
• Experience floating across multiple lab or facility settings
• Strong adaptability and ability to manage change in a fast-paced environment
