Job Title
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room Charge (Nights)
Location
Arcata, CA | Emergency Room
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Three 12-hour shifts per week | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during overnight hours
- Serve in a Charge Nurse capacity, overseeing unit operations and supporting nursing staff during assigned shifts
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Proof of negative TB screen within 12 months of contract start date
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Charge Nurse role within an Emergency Room setting
- Experience working in high-acuity or fast-paced emergency environments
