Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Variable Day/Night Shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care for a primarily geriatric patient population with conditions including CHF, COPD, and diabetes on a 25-bed Medical-Surgical unit
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–1:5 on day shifts and 1:6 on night shifts
• Float to the Emergency Department within scope of competency as needed
• Participate in every-other-weekend and holiday rotation
• Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR; utilize CareScape patient monitors and Pyxis medication dispensing systems

Required Qualifications

• Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred but not required
• Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
• Experience working across multiple departments or units as a traveler
• Proficiency with Epic EMR, CareScape patient monitors, and Pyxis
