Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to a mixed population of long-term residents and skilled residents working toward discharge, including common diagnoses such as Sepsis, Femur Fracture, NSTEMI, CKD, CHF, and UTI
• Manage and maintain IV access including PICC lines, Mediports, and Central Lines; administer IV antibiotics, blood products, and IV fluids
• Perform wound care, Foley/catheter care, PEG tube feedings, ostomy care, and tracheostomy care as applicable
• Collaborate with an on-site interdisciplinary team including PT, OT, Speech Therapy, Case Managers, Social Services, Dieticians, and Pharmacy
• Float within the facility as needed; travelers may be asked to float prior to core staff
• Document and chart using Point Click Care (EMR)

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN licensure in West Virginia (or compact eligibility)
• Current CPR certification required prior to first day of assignment
• Demonstrated experience with IVs, PICC lines, Mediports, and Central Lines
• Ability to work a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:15 in a SNF/LTC environment
• Availability to work every other weekend as required by facility scheduling

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care setting
• Familiarity with Point Click Care EMR
• Experience caring for patients with complex diagnoses such as CHF, CKD, Sepsis, or post-surgical recovery needs
