Job Title

Registered Nurse – Case Management

Location

Anchorage, AK | Acute Care Hospital

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 or 26 Weeks) | Days | 4×10 or 5×8 Hours | Shift times vary between 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM windows | Every other weekend or 4 weekend days per 4-week schedule | On-call not required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform case management functions within an acute hospital setting, coordinating patient care from admission through discharge
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for all documentation and charting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as needed to meet patient care demands
• Participate in weekend coverage on a rotating basis
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s)

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska RN License in hand (pending license candidates may be screened, but an active AK RN license is required prior to offer)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Demonstrated experience with Epic electronic health records
• Acute care experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Accredited Case Manager (ACM) certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a case management role
• Familiarity with Magnet facility standards and Level II Trauma environments
