Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Location

Aurora, CO | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry unit serving a large cardiac population across Telemetry and PCU floors
• Maintain expected patient ratios of 1:5 on day shift; ratios on nights vary by unit
• Perform telemetry monitoring and related procedures for patients with varied acute and chronic medical conditions
• Float to inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
• Collaborate with RNs and CNAs as part of a team-oriented, supportive unit environment
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech / CPN EMR

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Telemetry hospital experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong Telemetry background with demonstrated clinical competency
• Chemo Certification (candidates with this credential may be considered for scheduling on the Oncology unit)
• Experience floating across multiple inpatient units
• Compassionate, team-oriented approach with willingness to care for patients with diverse medical needs
