Contract | Days | 4 x 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services within an acute care rehab unit serving PT, OT, and Speech patients across a 7-day-a-week coverage model
• Treat a diverse patient population including cardiac, stroke, orthopedic, ICU, neurological, and med-surg cases within a stroke-certified facility
• Document patient care using Cerner EMR
• Participate in weekend rotation (expected every 3rd weekend, with potential for every other weekend)
• Participate in holiday rotation shared across all modalities
• Work within a team-led structure; a PT team leader is available when the manager is not on site

Required Qualifications

• Active California Physical Therapist (PT) license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital experience
• Proficiency or ability to work with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience treating stroke, neurological, orthopedic, or cardiac patient populations in an acute care setting
• Familiarity with ICU and med-surg patient care environments
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
