Key Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care within the assigned unit scope of practice in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
- Apply nursing process guidelines and adhere to established standards of care and standards of practice
- Provide emergency room nursing care across a 35-treatment-room unit serving a diverse patient population
- Utilize the MediTech EMR system to document and manage patient care
- Participate in ongoing staff development and continuing education programs
Required Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN license
- Minimum 2 years of RN Emergency Room experience required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- TNCC certification required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Candidates with a permanent address within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers and may be subject to an adjusted travel rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume emergency department
- Familiarity with MediTech EMR
- Experience with wound care and pain management protocols
