Job Title

Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Department operating as a Level 3 Trauma Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI, and Stroke Certified facility
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 during night shift alongside a team that includes a Charge Nurse Coordinator, fellow RNs, a Unit Clerk, and a Greeter
• Operate and monitor patients using GE monitors, Lifepaks, Baxter IV pumps, Ranger rapid infuser, and Ranger blood warmer
• Document all patient care accurately using the Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Respond to trauma, cardiac, and stroke emergencies in accordance with department protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Kentucky or a compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a trauma-designated or stroke-certified emergency department
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse or similar EMR platforms
• Experience with rapid infusion and blood warming equipment
