Job Title

Travel RN – Emergency Department

Location

Frankfort, KY | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Mid Shift (1:00 PM – 1:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Department with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Operate and monitor patients using GE monitors, Lifepaks, Baxter IV pumps, Ranger rapid infuser, and Ranger blood warmer
• Document patient care and clinical information using Meditech Expanse EMR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, PCTs, and unit clerks across a Level 3 Trauma Center
• Deliver care in an Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and a Stroke Certified facility

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Level 3 Trauma Center setting
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse EMR
• Experience in chest pain or stroke-certified care environments
