Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | No Block Booking | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
• Participate in orientation, which includes dayshift training hours before transitioning to floor-based night shift work
• Assist with weekend and holiday coverage as needed
• Float to other units as needed (expected to be rare)
• Clock in at the facility and submit time accurately through the designated mobile application

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas RN license or valid Compact RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required – all must be in hand prior to start
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
• Must be an experienced traveler – first-time travel nurses are not eligible for this position
• New graduates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 5 or more years of Emergency Room experience
• Experience in a large acute care facility setting
