Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/PCU/Stepdown setting with patient ratios of 1:5 or 1:6
• Manage patients with cardiac-specific diagnoses including chest pain, post-cath lab interventions, and cardiothoracic surgery recovery
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips and other high-acuity cardiac therapies
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
• Participate in holiday rotation and work every other weekend as required

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent RN license required at time of submission — temporary licenses are not accepted
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Demonstrated cardiac experience including cardiac drips, cardiothoracic surgeries, chest pain, and post-cath lab interventions
• Experience managing high patient ratios (1:5 or 1:6)
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a stepdown or PCU environment
• Familiarity with facility onboarding module completion prior to start date
