Job Title

Certified Nursing Assistant – Evenings (3PM–11PM)

Haverhill, MA | Skilled Nursing Facility

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Evening Shift (3PM–11PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provides direct resident care as outlined in each individual care plan, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, eating, toileting, range of motion, and other activities of daily living
• Reports unusual resident observations, changes in condition, accidents, incidents, or emergencies to the charge nurse promptly
• Observes all measures for resident safety including fall risk assessment, elopement potential, and proper transfer, lifting, and ambulation procedures
• Follows infection control policies and Standard Precautions at all times
• Responds to resident call lights as promptly as feasible and ensures call bells remain within resident reach
• Completes PCC documentation and repositioning sheets at the end of every shift

Required Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts CNA Certification in good standing
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
• Ability to read, write, and speak English in a legible and understandable manner
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 40 pounds; ability to stand up to six hours per shift
• Maintenance of current CNA certification including completion of 12 hours of continuing education per year

Preferred Experience / Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
