Contract (14 Weeks) | Full-Time | Days | Monday – Friday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in a skilled nursing facility setting using evidence-based occupational therapy practices
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients’ functional independence and quality of life
• Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of California
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, day shift
• Ability to fulfill a 14-week contract commitment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care environment
• Familiarity with Medicare documentation and skilled nursing facility billing requirements
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary team collaboration skills
