Job Title

Registered Nurse – Neuro ICU

Location

Tyler, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Neuro ICU setting, monitoring and managing critically ill neurological patients
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Perform ongoing neurological assessments using NIHSS and other standardized tools
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry units as needed based on patient census and staffing requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal)
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Neuro experience required
• Candidates residing in the following counties are not eligible for this position: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Experience floating across ICU, IMC, and Telemetry settings
