Level 4 RN Midwife – OB/GYN

Contract | 12-Week Assignment (Extendable) | 24-Hour In-House Shifts | Expected 7 shifts per month

Key Responsibilities

• Perform triage, admission, and discharge for non-cesarean section patients
• Conduct and manage uncomplicated vaginal deliveries in a hospital setting
• Provide emotional support and clinical guidance to patients before, during, and after labor
• Identify and escalate high-risk or complicated pregnancies to the consulting physician; physician manages operative deliveries and rounds on complex patients
• Educate patients and families on antenatal care and reproductive health
• Opportunity to see patients in the Women’s Clinic on a secondary basis

Required Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma RN License
• Active Oklahoma DEA License
• AMCB Certification required
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required
• OB/GYN Dedicated Nurse (OBDNN) certification required
• Must be able to work 24-hour in-house shifts with a minimum of 24 hours between consecutive shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing a moderate-to-high delivery volume (facility currently averages 5–6 births per day)
• Comfort working in a collaborative care model alongside physician and locum providers
• Prior experience in hospital-based labor and delivery settings
