Registered Nurse – Nursery / NICU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3×12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM–7:00 PM (some shifts 11:00 AM–11:00 PM based on unit needs) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Nursery setting, with a focus on neonates and newborns
• Attend deliveries and perform neonatal resuscitation as needed
• Deliver Mother/Baby couplet care in alignment with unit protocols
• Float to Mother/Baby and Postpartum units based on unit needs
• Provide age-appropriate care addressing developmental, psychosocial, environmental safety, education, and communication needs across pediatric through geriatric populations
• Participate in on-call coverage and every-other-weekend shifts as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN License (Nursys verification uploaded within the last 2 weeks required)
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification (AHA or ARC only)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Experience in a Level II or Level III NICU, including delivery attendance and neonatal resuscitation
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (local candidates accepted at local rate if within radius)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NICU experience combined with Postpartum or Mother/Baby background
• Familiarity with Mother/Baby couplet care workflows
• Prior travel or float experience across perinatal units
