Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 22-bed Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population including traumas, STEMIs, stroke, cardiac, GI, psychiatric, and pediatric cases
• Maintain patient ratios of 4:1 for pod patients, 2:1 for critical patients, and 6:1 for fast track
• Utilize Cerner EHR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Work 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period as part of the standard schedule
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient throughput, length of stay goals, and overall patient experience
• Maintain compliance with all required certifications including ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• PALS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma nursing experience
• Pediatric emergency care experience
• Experience with Cerner EHR
• Strong team-oriented, resilient, and adaptable work style
