Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist during cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) surgical procedures
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, including instrument setup and surgical supply management
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments and supplies throughout procedures
• Participate in on-call coverage as expected — approximately 11–12 calls per month
• Work any holidays that fall on regularly scheduled shifts

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
• BLS certification required
• Experience in CVOR or cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Expected 40 hours per week
• No weekend requirement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-volume cardiovascular OR setting
• Familiarity with open heart and vascular surgical procedures
• Strong ability to adapt to on-call demands in a fast-paced surgical environment
