Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment programs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident care goals
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and referral sources throughout the care process
- Contribute to building a positive, resident- and family-focused facility culture
- Implement and monitor occupational therapy interventions in a long term care setting
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience in a long term care (LTC) setting
- Active Texas OT license or compact state license required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong collaboration and team-building skills
- Experience engaging with residents, families, and referral sources in a long term care environment
