Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

St. Louis Park, MN | Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | Mid/Night Shift (shift start times of 0300 or 1500) | Weekends and holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float within the ER department as needed to support staffing and patient care needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Minnesota RN license (Minnesota is a non-compact state)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting
• BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• ACLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• PALS (AHA only) or ENPC certification required
• TNCC and NIHSS certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma Emergency Room environment
• Familiarity with floating assignments and adapting quickly to varying patient acuity levels
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in emergent situations
