Job Title

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Watsonville, CA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Rotating Shifts | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing patient treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as directed
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility standards
• Communicate effectively with the care team regarding patient status and treatment outcomes
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients throughout the course of treatment

Required Qualifications

• Active California PTA license in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Ability to work rotating shifts as scheduled

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a contract or travel therapy role
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a team-based care environment
