Job Title

LPN – Dermatology Clinic (8-Hour Days)

Location

Rapid City, SD | Outpatient

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | No weekends, no call, no holiday rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical nursing support within a multi-specialty outpatient clinic environment, with primary placement in the Dermatology department
• Perform medical scribing duties, including accurate documentation of skin exams, use of dermatology-specific dot phrases, and proficiency in dermatology terminology
• Chart and document patient encounters using the EPIC electronic health record system
• Collaborate with providers, charge nurses, and CNAs to support patient flow and care delivery
• Float within the department only as directed by the supervising APP

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN license; must have completed a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing
• BLS certification required
• Scribing experience is required — must demonstrate proficiency in medical scribing, dermatology terminology, and dot phrase documentation
• Minimum of 2 years of dermatology experience
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong familiarity with outpatient dermatology workflows and skin exam documentation
• Prior experience working in a multi-specialty clinic setting (e.g., General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Urology, or Bariatrics)
• Experience with EPIC in an outpatient or clinic environment
