Contract | Full-Time | Days (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite | No weekends, no call, no holiday rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within a Primary Care setting encompassing Family Medicine (birth to geriatric) and Internal Medicine (18+ to geriatric)
• Manage a broad range of common illnesses and conditions including chronic pain, diabetes, thyroid disorders, URI, UTI, annual and Medicare physicals, well-woman exams, depression, anxiety, and more
• Assist providers with minor procedures such as IUD insertion/removal, Nexplanon insertion/removal, toenail removals, and incision and drainage (I&D), including chaperoning, room setup, and instrument/supply handling
• Document patient encounters and clinical information using EPIC in an ambulatory clinic setting
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including MAs, RNs, MDs, APPs, phlebotomy, and radiology
• Float to other clinic areas occasionally as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN license; completion of a board-approved nursing education program required
• BLS certification required
• EPIC experience in an ambulatory clinic setting is required
• Minimum of 1 year of ambulatory clinic experience required
• Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Primary Care experience strongly preferred
• Experience starting IVs strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Family Medicine and Internal Medicine patient populations across a wide age range
