Respiratory Therapist – Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care activities in critical care areas, including adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care
• Work under the supervision of the RT Supervisor and Cardiopulmonary Manager
• Deliver respiratory therapy services across a regional referral center supporting a wide range of specialties
• Train respiratory therapy personnel in critical care areas
• Maintain active Oklahoma Respiratory Therapy license throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience required
• NICU experience required
• Active Oklahoma Respiratory Therapy license required
• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy required; college diploma or official transcript required
• NRP certification required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ACLS (AHA) certification required
• PALS (AHA) certification required
• First-time travelers are not eligible for this position
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated at this time
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard travel rate; local candidates within 50 miles may be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a regional referral center or similarly sized acute care environment
• Familiarity with neonatal and pediatric critical care protocols
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or willingness to obtain
