Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care / skilled nursing facility setting
• Float across designated areas of the facility as needed to meet staffing demands
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with care plans and facility protocols
• Monitor and document resident health status, reporting changes to appropriate clinical staff
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies, state regulations, and infection control standards
• Must present a valid state or federal issued photo ID and wear a photo badge at all times while on assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in the state of Maine
• Current, valid state or federal issued photo identification required
• Must have completed the original or updated COVID-19 vaccine series, or present a documented religious and/or medical exemption from employer; additional doses required where mandated by law
• Ability to float across multiple care areas within the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility environment
• Familiarity with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems
• Strong communication and adaptability skills suited for a float nursing role
