Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (4 West Comprehensive Medical Unit)

Zanesville, OH | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Day Shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Comprehensive Medical-Surgical unit
• Float occasionally between various Med-Surg units including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED/Med-Surg boarder areas
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings as part of routine patient assessment
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Deliver care during day shift with rotating weekend coverage; no on-call requirement

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of Ohio (or compact eligibility)
• Active BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of current and recent Telemetry and/or Step-Down experience
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret telemetry — competency will be assessed on day one
• Current Epic EMR proficiency required — must be documented in submission; on-site training or 1:1 orientation for Epic is not available

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple Med-Surg subspecialties such as Oncology, Cardiac, or Stroke
• Comfort with float assignments across varied acute care units
• Strong adaptability and clinical assessment skills in a fast-paced environment
