Job Title

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (14 Weeks) | Full-Time | Days | Monday – Friday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises and functional activities
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with facility standards
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team regarding patient status
• Maintain valid state licensure and present a state or federal issued photo ID upon arrival to the facility; a photo badge must be worn at all times while on site

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Washington
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Valid state or federal issued photo identification required
• Ability to work Monday through Friday day shifts for the duration of a 14-week contract

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a contract or registry staffing capacity
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to facility protocols and patient populations
