Job Title

Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Trauma Tele)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Trauma Telemetry unit with a day shift RN ratio of 1:5/6
• Utilize medical remote telemetry monitoring equipment and document via Cerner EMR
• Prepare patients for procedures including Endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, and OR
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, CNAs, HUCs, and sitters in a fast-paced environment
• Float to designated sister Med-Surg units as needed
• Fulfill weekend shift commitment of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Telemetry
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge Nurse or leadership experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• CMSRN certification
• Hard-working, compassionate, and team-oriented with comfort in a fast-paced environment
