Registered Nurse – Oncology

Location

Santa Rosa, CA | Outpatient Oncology Clinic

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5×8-Hour Shifts | Expected 40 Hours/Week

Key Responsibilities

• Administer approximately 6 infusions per shift in an outpatient oncology clinic setting
• Perform 1–2 port draws daily as part of routine patient care
• Operate and monitor Alaris Infusion Pumps and CADD Ambulatory Pumps
• Provide safe, patient-centered oncology nursing care in accordance with established clinical protocols
• Collaborate with clinic staff and interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes
• Participate in holiday coverage; expected to work 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Oncology certification required: ONCC or ONS
• Minimum 1 year of oncology/infusion experience in an outpatient setting
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are accepted
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of candidacy; post-offer RTO requests may not be accommodated

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic EMR
• Prior travel nursing experience, though first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Familiarity with outpatient oncology clinic workflows and patient scheduling
