Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient conditions in accordance with physician orders and current standards of practice
• Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions aligned with the established plan of care
• Educate and train patients and their caregivers throughout the care process
• Complete written documentation including chart notes, evaluations, progress reports, and discharge summaries
• Participate in quality improvement processes and interdisciplinary team meetings related to patient care
• Supervise and train COTAs, aides, and students as assigned; support orientation of new employees

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program (degree will be verified)
• Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
