Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Self-Scheduling | 3 Weekend Shifts per 4-Week Schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, which may occasionally increase up to 1:3
• Manage and care for patients presenting with common diagnoses including respiratory, trauma, neurological, cardiac, renal, and OB conditions
• Document and manage patient records using Cerner EMR
• Float to stepdown unit as needed based on staffing and census requirements
• Participate in self-scheduling within a 4-week rotation, including assigned weekend shifts

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• Critical care experience is required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with a diverse ICU patient population including neurological and trauma cases
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
• Experience floating to stepdown or similar units
