Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an oncology/chemotherapy unit during night shift hours
- Administer chemotherapy and other oncology-related treatments in accordance with facility protocols
- Monitor and assess patient responses to treatment, reporting changes in condition to the care team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
Required Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Prior to start, candidates must complete the following pre-employment lab tests: Complete Blood Count (CBC), Complete Metabolic Panel (CMP), Urinalysis, and Reticulocyte Count
- Experience in oncology or chemotherapy nursing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience in an oncology setting
- Familiarity with chemotherapy administration protocols and safety standards
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification
