Job Title

Occupational Therapist (OT) – Travel Contract

Location

Sierra Vista, AZ | Acute Rehab Unit

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday with rotation for one day of weekend coverage | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting
• Evaluate and treat patients to support functional recovery and independence
• Document patient care and progress using Cerner and NetHealth EMR systems
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide occasional coverage to MedSurg as needed (rare, but expected)

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license valid in the state of Arizona or eligibility to obtain
• Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
• Proficiency or ability to learn Cerner and NetHealth EMR platforms
• Ability to work a Monday–Friday schedule with rotating weekend day coverage

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an acute rehabilitation or inpatient rehab setting
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR documentation
• Comfort working in a smaller facility environment (10-bed unit)
