Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

Akron, OH | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days, 5×8-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate, scrub, and monitor procedural cases in the Cardiac Cath Lab / EP setting
• Participate in on-call rotation as required; details to be discussed during interview
• Maintain compliance with facility-required annual hands-on competency and module requirements
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with an acceptable passing score

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of permanent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab / EP (combined experience accepted; preferred within a single location)
• Active RN license in Ohio or a valid Compact license — must be in hand at time of submission (no pending licenses accepted)
• BLS certification — must be active and in hand at time of submission
• ACLS certification — must be active and in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months (co-worker references will not be accepted)
• No open background case hits; facility does not accept any license hits
• Local candidates are welcome and will be considered at the same rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience within a single Cath Lab / EP location preferred
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition
• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-acuity procedural setting
