Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | Monday – Friday | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement and progress individualized treatment plans in accordance with the supervising PT’s direction
• Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and relevant clinical notes accurately and in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and goals
• Maintain a safe and professional environment, adhering to all facility policies and procedures
• Must present a state or federal issued photo ID upon arrival and wear a photo badge at all times while on site

Required Qualifications

• Active PTA license in the state of Maryland
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Ability to work Monday through Friday day shifts for the duration of a 13-week contract
• Must comply with facility identification and badging requirements at all times

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an outpatient, acute care, or similar clinical setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and care teams
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation systems
