Job Title

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) – Contract

Location

San Antonio, TX | Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM | Rotating Weekends (4 out of 8 requirement)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced freestanding emergency department setting with a 1:4 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with procedures including IV placement, bloodwork, Foley catheter insertion, breathing treatments, and medication administration
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using the Meditech EMR system
• Serve in a charge nurse capacity as assigned based on unit needs
• Adhere to all facility dress code and policy requirements, including wearing navy blue scrubs
• May be asked to provide coverage at other affiliated FSED locations within the area as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS or ENPC certification required
• TNCC and CPI certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Previous experience in a freestanding emergency department (FSED) setting
• Team-oriented professional with a strong sense of accountability, integrity, and compassion for patients
