Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite | Projected Start: 10/29/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Department operating as a Level 3 Trauma Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI, and Stroke Certified facility
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 during night shift alongside a Charge Nurse Coordinator, fellow RNs, Unit Clerk, and Greeter
• Operate and monitor patients using GE monitors, Lifepaks, Baxter IV pumps, Ranger rapid infuser, and Ranger blood warmer
• Document all patient care accurately using the Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Respond to trauma, cardiac, and stroke emergencies in accordance with facility protocols and required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Kentucky or a compact state
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse EMR
• Experience in trauma, chest pain, or stroke care environments
