Job Title

X-Ray / Radiology Technologist – CT (Afternoons)

Contract | Full-Time | Afternoon/Mid Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor computerized tomography (CT) equipment; transfer and position patients using accepted safety and lifting standards
• Obtain patient identification, allergy history, and pertinent medical history prior to procedures
• Prepare and administer contrast media intravenously per radiologist protocol; monitor patients for allergic reactions and respond appropriately
• Capture, store, transfer, and archive electronic/digital images; maintain permanent image files and quality control records
• Perform daily equipment calibration and quality control; coordinate with radiology staff to maintain department inventory and cleanliness
• Assist radiologists and physician specialists with specialized radiological procedures; support emergency situations including basic CPR

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of X-Ray or Radiology Technologist experience (Required)
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Ability to follow facility imaging protocols and maintain registry in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Candidates with a permanent address within 35 miles of the facility are considered local travelers and may be subject to an adjusted travel rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel/contract assignment experience preferred
• Skills checklist completed within the past year is preferred
• Experience with Cerner EMR
